PowerPoint because of simple operation, beautiful interface, no need for professional basis, has been a broad line of teachers love, but its shortcomings are also obvious, it is the lack of interactivity, dynamic. In fact, PowerPoint can be used to make interactive courseware, the following author to do a sinusoidal y=asinx as an example to do an introduction:
1. Run PowerPoint XP, insert a blank slide in the appropriate location of the courseware, click insert → object, and select Microsoft Excel worksheet. After clicking [OK], the menu bar and toolbar are automatically replaced with Excel format.
2. Click outside the object area, the menu bar, toolbars are automatically changed to PowerPoint format, click the object area, there are eight handles, then you can adjust the size, position. Enter 5 in the B5, and enter "=B5/10" in B4, because the next control format is at least 1, and the step is reduced to 0.1 after dividing by 10, making the change of the image curve smoother and more natural. In C3, enter "= $B $ SIN (C2)" and select it, drag right to Ay as before.
5. Select C2 to AY3 this area, click "Insert → chart", select "xy scatter chart → numerous points smooth line scatter plot".

8. At this point the chart is the default format, and there are many subkeys in the chart Drop-down menu for us to modify the chart format. The axis changes as you drag the slider, which does not well reflect the relationship between the function Y=sinx and the Y=asinx image, so you must set the following:
Set the scale of the axis: Select the Y axis, right-click, and execute the format Axis command in the pop-up menu. In the pop-up window, select the Tick label to set the minimum, maximum, and major units of the value (Y) axis scale to 4, 4, and 1.). If you drag the slider again, the axis will no longer change.
