This tutorial for beginners to show step-by-step shaping the ear, carving requires you to have a certain zbrush basic knowledge, such as to know how to import zsphere, using shift+ Drag the model to the visual, how to switch the view switch, and generally know the location of the tool settings.

The ears are relatively carved or have a certain degree of difficulty, preferably through anatomical training, or you will encounter a lot of mistakes or lead to low efficiency. It is suggested here that if the ear structure is not well understood, the ear model can be deliberately exaggerated, it is easier to see what is different.

Drag the Zsphere out of the tool panel and press the "T" button to make it editable. Turn on the X symmetry to draw a small ball on each side of the zsphere and move it in, as shown in the following figure (left). Press the "A" key to preview, note color grouping.

Adjust the Ires to 1 in the adaptive Skin under the tool panel, and use a 1-size move tool to bring the blue group's outermost point closer to the other points.

And then move the third round point outward, remember, we've moved these points away from the head before. Check the back, the ears should have a thickness. Subdivide it once, moving the dots around the perimeter, so that your ears have a structure to the Valgus fold.

If you don't have enough detail at the highest resolution, you can take the sdiv level down to about 3. Remove the low level and press ctrl+shift+ to hide the head by clicking on the ear. Subdivide once, showing the head. The resolution of the ear increases, but the head is the same as before, you can crease the side and only smooth the ears.

Many friends say that the ear is the most difficult part of the model to make the head. Yes, it's very easy to make mistakes. The usual mistake is the ear hole, in fact, you rarely see the ear hole, it hides in the cartilage behind, and there are many different places on the ear fluctuations. Now, the best solution is to use the reference map to make the carving more persuasive.
