Smart Resym (Intelligent symmetry): When the object is made in symmetrical editing, if the model is not symmetrical in a symmetrical direction, you can mask the right half of the object, applying this command, the other half of the symmetric will automatically complete the symmetry according to the masked part of the network, the command is for the polygon mesh object, And if the symmetry between the two sides is too large, this command does not necessarily accomplish the desired effect. A symmetric axis can be set later in this command.

Let's look at the use of smart Resym (intelligent symmetry) using a small example.

Select Demohead in the Lightbox and drag a head model in the view.

Press the X key on the keyboard to cancel the symmetry of the brush and carve the face on the left half of the head, as shown in (left).

To make sure the model is in Orthographic view, press and hold the CTRL key on the keyboard to select the left half of the face that the head has carved, as shown in (right).

　　

Tip: The masked part needs a symmetrical part.

Click the tool>deformation (Tools > Deform) command, expand its menu, click the Smart Resym button, as shown in (left), after a period of time, the other side of the head is copied symmetrically, as shown in (right).

　　

Note: On the right side of the smart Resym (intelligent symmetry) button, there are x/y/z3 axes to choose from, and we need to choose which axis to symmetry on.
