Log on to the vro management page and click
Device ManagementTo go to the management settings page, as shown in the following figure:
1
, Find the host to be controlled
There are multiple terminals on this page. Find the terminal to be controlled (the speed usage is abnormal or determined by the MAC address), as shown below:
2
, Limit the speed of the corresponding host
Click the terminal name and change it to a common name for easy management. Then click
Speed limit, Respectively, limit the maximum upstream/downstream speed.
In the same way, set the speed limit for the phone.
3
, Check the setting effect
In the status, the uplink and downlink speeds of Xiao Li and Xiao Zhang are controlled as follows:
So far, the network speed limit has taken effect and bandwidth can be used properly.
1
What is the maximum speed limit?
A: The speed limit is related to your total bandwidth and the application of the restricted terminal. For example, if your bandwidth is 20 Mbps, the maximum bandwidth of a terminal is 8 Mbps, however, if the total bandwidth is only 8 Mbps, you need to reconsider.
Therefore, we provide a speed reference (1 Byte = 8 bit, for example, 20 Kbps means 160 Kbps). You can set it as needed:

IP
Is the address still under control?
A: the speed control mechanism of the vro is to control the internet access rate through the MAC address of the terminal. After the IP address is changed, it will still be controlled. We recommend that you name all terminals for ease of management.
