The iPhone app tigertext released last week enables users to set text messages on their mobile phones andThe "survival time" on the recipient's mobile phone after reading ". Once the time reaches, the text message will disappear permanently and cannot be forwarded.
The user sends a text message via tigertext, and the recipient will see the prompt message for tigertext installation. The recipient can only read the text message after tigertext is installed, but cannot save the text message. Because the text message is not actually sent to the recipient's mobile phone, it is stored on the tigertext server. After the User-Defined time (ranging from 1 minute to 5 days) expires, the text message will no longer exist. Tigertext even has the "delete on read" setting. The system starts counting from 60 and deletes the text message when the counter is 0.
