A few days ago, the new computer Nic cannot get an IP address. I started to think it was a driver problem. Later I went to the Asus Chinese forum to ask for advice. I installed the driver to solve a problem that could not be identified by the device. It seems that the NIC could also get the IP address at that time.
However, IP addresses cannot be obtained soon. What is going on? After careful observation, we found that it was a fault caused by a wireless router.
This wireless router is connected to a switch in the office. It provides network interfaces for five computers in the office and a network printer to obtain DHCP distribution from a VPN switch in the IDC. Due to the large number of people in the office, I don't know when the network cable pulled from the switch is inserted into the LAN port of the wireless router. The LAN port of the wireless router is configured with DHCP distribution, and the WAN port is set to automatically obtain the IP address. Currently, the WAN port has no network cable. The wireless router obtains an IP address (10.62.1. *) from the LAN port, and distributes the IP address 192.168.0. * to its subordinate networks. When the host is started, DHCP is obtained from the wireless router first, but the DHCP acquisition process cannot be completed eventually, leading to the failure of the host Nic to obtain the correct IP address. The correct IP address is obtained only after ipconfig/release and renew are executed and the VPN switch in the IDC is re-connected.
Due to the above reasons, the wireless network provided by the wireless router is also frequently dropped for several days, and the IP address changes between 10.62 and 192.168.
Re-plug the network cable into the WAN port of the wireless router to restore normal.
