There is a BCDboot.exe command in the WIN8/10 system, which is a command-line tool for quickly setting up the system boot partition or repairing the system startup environment. The BCDboot.exe command sets/repairs the system by copying a small set of boot environment files from the installed Windows System folder. BCDboot also creates a boot configuration BCD file on the system partition that stores the boot boot entry and lets you choose to boot the installed Windows.
When the system fails to start, start the Windows PE environment with a USB flash drive or CD, or use the Advanced repair mode of WIN8/10 to boot to the command environment (recommended), and then run the BCDboot command to repair the damaged system. The BCDboot command is typically within the%windir%\system32 folder, and it runs after you copy a set of boot environment files from an existing Windows image on the computer to the boot partition (GPT)/directory (MBR).
These boot environment files include the following: copying from the installed System%windir%\boot\efi folder and the%windir%\system32\boot folder to the system boot partition. In a UEFI+GPT environment, BCDboot copies the files to the default system boot partition (ESP) identified by the firmware. In addition, BCDboot uses the%windir%\system32\config\bcd-template file as a template, creates a new BCD (boot menu) file on the system boot partition, and initializes the BCD boot environment file. You can define a specific BCD setting in the Bcd-template file (requires the BCB file editor).

On a BIOS-based system, the system partition is an active partition on a disk that uses the master boot record (MBR) disk format. BCDboot creates the \boot directory on the system partition and copies all the required boot environment files to this directory.
On systems that are based on the UEFI (Unified Extensible Firmware Interface), the EFI system partition is the system boot partition (ESP) on the disk that uses the GUID partition table (GPT) disk format. BCDboot creates the \efi\microsoft\boot directory and copies all the required boot environment files to this directory.

BCDboot Command Parameters

<ignore_js_op>

Example
1, bios+mbr commonly used
BCDboot c:\windows/l ZH-CN
Explanation: Copy the boot file from the system Tray C:\Windows directory and create a BCD (Chinese) boot menu to repair the system boot environment.
2, uefi+gpt commonly used
BCDboot c:\windows/s S:/F uefi/l ZH-CN
Explanation: Use DG and other tools to mount the ESP partition as S disk, copy the UEFI-formatted boot file from the system disk C:\Windows directory to the ESP partition, and repair the system.

The specific meaning of each parameter:
C:\Windows System installation directory, open My Computer, check that your system is installed on that disk, enter the corresponding drive letter and directory.
/s: Specifies the disk where the ESP partition is located, and the small codec specifies that the ESP partition is a T-disk.
The/F UEFI specifies that the boot mode is UEFI, and the space between the notes must be entered.
/L ZH-CN specify UEFI Boot interface language for Simplified Chinese

Summarize:
WIN8/10 system Startup Repair command Bcdboo is still relatively simple, it from the damaged system (in general is the C:\Windows directory, these files are of course you install the system when there is a) copy the boot file into your boot partition, to achieve the purpose of repairing the system. As a result, the command executes correctly if:
1. Boot partition exists
2. The startup file exists in the Windows installation disk
Otherwise, the command will fail to execute or error. This is a rare situation that must be manually restored to the startup environment, which will be the next article.
