Here is the introduction of the basic knowledge of music in Flash, if you want to know how to deal with the music in Flash, please read this article.
Flash provides several methods for using sound. You can make the sound play independently of the timeline, and you can synchronize the animation with the track. Attaching a sound to a button makes the button more responsive. Makes the sound fade in and out, making the track more graceful.
There are two types of sounds in Flash, event sounds (events sounds), and streaming sounds (stream sounds). The event sound must be completely downloaded before it can begin playback and is continuously played until there is a clear stop command. Stream sounds start playing as soon as the data is downloaded from a few frames, and the playback of the sound is synchronized with the timeline that is played on the site.
After you import an audio file, you can call the Properties dialog box by clicking the Audio footage icon in the library. The following figure:
You can choose to set the output properties of the audio footage in the Exprotsettings column. There are three types of audio compression available: ADPCM (adaptive Audio pulse encoding), MP3, and Raw (uncompressed).
The following parameter options can be set in detail for the output audio effect.
When selecting ADPCM:
- Perprocessing: Select whether to merge into mono
- Samplerate: Output sample rate. The larger the sampling rate, the more realistic the sound, the larger the file.
- ADPCM bits: The higher the number of bits in the output, the better the sound, but the larger the file. The effect of this item on sound quality is less than the sample rate.
When selecting MP3:
We can use the sound controls on the Sound panel in the Frame Properties dialog box to define the start point of the sound, or to control the volume of the sound when it plays. Open the Frame Properties dialog box and select the Sound setting card, as shown in the following illustration:
- You can choose the playback effect of the audio reference in the Effect Drop-down list selection box, and there are 6 effects in the FLASH4 to choose from. where "None" does not set any playback effect, "Custom" allows editing of the playback effect of the audio.
- You can set the playback mode in the "Sync" column, with four choices:
1. " Event----call, regardless of the animation timeline, you must stop the playback of the audio with a special command, or you will play until the loop setting is played.
2. " Start----The beginning, similar to Event, except that if the command appears, but the audio is playing, it will not be played back.
3 "Stop"----terminate audio playback.
4. " Stream "----to play in a streaming manner. At this point, the audio is fully synchronized with the animation frame playback, the animation frame ends or is terminated, and the audio terminates.
- Enter the number of audio repeat playback in the Loop field.
Edit the playback effect on the audio to the left of the edit bar and some control tools to implement. The following figure:
- If you want to change the start and end position of the sound, drag time in and time out.
- To change the sound playback volume, adjust the volume control line (Envelope lines) to enter is the row setting. Click on the line can create up to 8 control points (Envelope handles), drag control points to make the original line into a polyline, the line by the upper, the volume is larger; the polyline leans down and the volume becomes smaller.
- The space between two control points is a valid playback range, and dragging one of the control points can change the range.
- To convert between the time unit second and the frame, click the Seconds and Frames buttons.
