Preface
When using Visual Studio 2010, you can use
1. menu --> debug --> start execution (no debugging)
2. Shortcut: Ctrl + F5
3. Click "start execution" in the toolbar.
However, the "start to execute" button on the toolbar may not be displayed by default, or it may be accidentally hidden when organizing the toolbar. You can use the following method to retrieve the "start to execute" button.
Body
In my vs2010, the toolbar is shown below. The "start debugging" button is circled in blue, but the "start execution" button is not displayed.
Sometimes this button is necessary, because the menu --> debugging --> Method for starting execution (not debugging) requires multiple clicks, And the shortcut key also needs to be held down by two keys, the toolbar button is more convenient.
As shown in, click the lower triangle button on the right of the "standard" toolbar and select "add or remove" --> Custom
Click "add command". In the displayed dialog box, select "debug" on the left, select "start execution (no debugging)" on the right, and click "OK ".
At this time, the "start execution" button appears, and you can use "move up" and "Move Down" to move to the desired position.
Click CLOSE. The "start execution" button appears in the menu bar.
PS: this problem has been plagued for a long time and is finally set up today. This is definitely the gospel of obsessive-compulsive disorder ~
