And Jesus said unto him, Satan has retreated. For the scripture says, "Worship the Lord your God, and serve Him alone." Then the Devil was away from Jesus, and an angel came to him. (Matthew 4th, section 1 to 11)

These two verses show that Jesus Christ was in this world, confronted by the evil temptations of the devil, and overcame them. Please note that Jesus was tempted after 40 days and nights of fasting and praying, that is, when he is at the peak of his spirit, so let us not assume that spiritual people will not be tempted, but that people are going to beware when they are in good spirits.

After Jesus fasted for 40 days and nights in the wilderness, the devil tempted him in three ways. Jesus answered the Temptation of the devil not to say that men do not estimate physical needs, but that men live, not by food alone, but by all that is spoken in the mouth of God.
