The role of the WinPE boot file

To implement booting WinPE on your hard disk, you must include the following three files avldr.pe peldr WINNT. SIF, and is copied to the C disk with the PE mirror file, and then the Boot.ini file is restarted before the WinPE boot menu appears.

1, Avldr. PE is the file that was loaded when the computer was started, and there are 1 Peldr file names in the file.

2, Peldr is the PE boot loading program, the file has 7 data for the PE system directory name, according to the different PE mirror changes, such as I386 Wxpe, modify the note case-sensitive; There are 9 file names for Winnt.sif.

3, WINNT. The SIF is a bootstrap configuration file that can be opened with Notepad, as follows:
