With the support of cloudy and hybrid clouds, users can better divide the resources of the cloud and improve efficiency, such as dividing the cloud for testing and the cloud for production.
This article mainly introduces the management of cloudy and mixed clouds, as well as some other characteristics.
What is a cloud?
With the popularity of cloud computing, there are many kinds of definition for cloud, from the scope of application to see a private cloud and public cloud, from the provider to see, foreign Amazon, the domestic Huawei Sina, etc., from the virtual architecture, there are VMware, IBM and so on.
So what is the cloud for SmartCloud Entry?
From the point of view of SmartCloud Entry management, the cloud is a managed and working vcenter or IBM System Director/vmcontrol that is hidden in the back, which needs to be supplied to SmartCloud Entry is just a username password to and an IP address, for example, for VMware Cloud, SmartCloud Entry needs the username password and vcenter IP address, as well as the IBM Power Cloud, provided the username password and IBM System Dire ctor's address.
The structure of cloudy and mixed clouds
From the image below, we can see that a SmartCloud Entry manages three heterogeneous clouds at the same time, and there is no limit to the physical location of these three heterogeneous clouds, as long as the network condition is good, which provides a possibility for managing the spread-zone-distributed cloud.

The browsers supported by SmartCloud Entry are ie8&9, Firefox, and Chrome. Below we use the Chrome browser to connect SmartCloud Entry servers to demonstrate how to add, update, remove multiple power Cloud, and VMware Cloud
Add multiple Clouds
The first step is to login to the SCE server with administrator privileges and switch to the Configuration > clouds page as follows
