Pay is an interesting topic. Everyone has their own ideas about this topic. It is also a unique taboo between working people. Although I have completed my studies in college and entered the working environment of a programmer for only about one months, I began to ask my classmates about their starting salary when they got their first job. The first thing I found out is that not everyone can face the problem naturally, and many companies have avoided answering the question. Microsoft, for example, has made it clear that people who require entry must keep the salary of their position confidential.

From a company like Microsoft, their approach to such things is perfectly understandable. They want to keep all the information as confidential as possible. If they offer you good treatment, and you tell your friends, your friends may have an unreasonable expectation. If they give you a bad deal, and you tell your friend, then you find that the treatment is very low and you will be unhappy about it. So, keeping this taboo among employees is clearly related to the best interests of each company. However, for you, it does not mean that you need to follow this taboo.

From a personal standpoint, it's a good idea to disclose your salary information. Sharing payroll information with co-workers is an excellent way to see how you are rewarded by the company. And, ultimately, this will be an effective tool for you to bargain with the company on salary in the future. Of course, the quality of treatment is difficult to make accurate comparisons, because different areas have different standards, but this is a way to start!

To make these suggestions more valuable, here are the starting salaries for the new hires of the unofficial four technology companies that I have collected. It would be hypocritical if I blew up the public payroll information while not sharing the information I had. In each of the companies below, I refer to at least three people who have a full-time job in the company, so the data is close to reality (especially for those who have not graduated).

Google: in the Mountain View office area and other large office areas in the United States, the annual salary is about 100,000 dollars, but they will be based on some confidential indicators of life to increase or decrease the number. They also offer a 4-year retention period equivalent to $45,000 trillion to 71,000 dollars (more likely to the latter), with Google's other benefits worth about 45,000 dollars a year or more.

Amazon: about 87,000 dollars a salary, they are famous for not bargaining with you on the starting salary. They usually provide a 40,000 to 50,000 dollar value of 4 years of different retention period of the stock (the longer you stay in the company, the more you get).

Microsoft: an average of about 90,000 dollars a year, but I heard only 80,000. Typically, a four-year stock with a value of about 50,000 dollars is attached.

Facebook: between 80,005 and 90,000 dollars a year. Their stock structure is complex, but I reckon it's usually a four-year retention period of 8,000 to 10,000 dollars, and if you believe in the price of the two-tier market, these stocks will have a value of more than 200,000 dollars, equivalent to 28 dollars per share.
