  Facial Shaping

The exquisite facial features of the characters will make the animated works much more attractive. Face shape to be from the front and side points from many angles, first of all we have to learn the basic positive shape (see Figure 1).

  (1) To determine the basic shape

The basic shape can be determined using induction, that is, the shape of the face can be expressed in a basic figure, such as: triangles, circles, squares and so on. Below I use a triangle to determine the underlying shape of the face (Figure 2).

By drawing two lines and then adjusting their relative positions, you can create a triangle.

 (2) The cheek adjustment

Also use the Arrow tool to select the lower half of the Circle line, delete it, forming the head contour.

(6) Fine adjustment of Face

What we're doing here is just a rough adjustment, and we need to tweak it a little, so we can narrow the top of the head properly and try to fit the head to face ratio until you look satisfied (see Figure 7).

  (7) Add ear

The face of the shape has been basically completed, the following need to add some necessary parts! Ears are indispensable, first draw an ear, and then copy, and finally with the "Modify" menu under the reverse command to the copy of the ear longitudinal reversal. Add two ears to the proper position of the face and finish shaping the face (Figure 8)!

Draw Eyes

After the last period of study you may have found that we do not really use the mouse to paint, exactly, should be using the mouse to adjust the desired shape. How, now feel the mouse in your hands to listen to some?

Here we will learn how to draw the character's eyes, OK, pick up your "rat", Let's "tune" it:!

First of all, in the heart to sum up the shape of the eyes of the outline, so that the heart to know how to tune the mouse as God. The first step is to create eyebrows and upper sockets (Figure 1).

The basic shape can be drawn by a curve of several radians.

The second step is to add eyeballs. Because the human eye is basically a circle from the front, so let's draw a circle and don't forget to hold down the SHIFT key while you're drawing (see Figure 2).

Normal people's eyeballs are usually not completely exposed, so we have to put the eyeball position slightly up to a point.

The third step is to remove the extra part of the eyeball and draw the contour of the Whites (Figure 3).

The contour line here is to fill the whites when convenient, the future contour is to be deleted.

The fourth step is to fill the color. Colors can be chosen according to their preferences, of course, the more beautiful the better (as shown in Figure 4).

Here we select the dark blue for the keynote of the spherical gradient fill.

The fifth step is to use a linear gradient fill effect to make the whites (Figure 5).

If you are satisfied with the eye effect you have made, this step can also be omitted.

The sixth step, for the eyeball to add reflective, so you can appear "lingling Big Eyes" effect, and then do a little modification, you can add a pupil to the eye. Just add a small black dot to the center of the eye (Figure 6)

Here we add some eyelashes to our eyes to make our eyes look more vivid.

The eyes are not moving, if you want to make the characters in the animation of the eyes more God, can express the small dots of high light to make the film components (Movie Clip), copied a small difference of three (I used to point three high light, because the general Japanese CG in the modelling are so, oh, just to absorb, is not advocating oh. In different layers, make some motion animations of the size change, so that the eyes will be crystal dynamic (see Figure 7).

Highlights are key to controlling the gaze direction of the eye, adjusting the size and position of the three highlight points.

  The shaping of the mouth

In the comics, the mouth is relatively good performance of the site, sometimes only need a straight line can be displayed. But if it is a more realistic mouth, it will be more trouble.
