A software interface design will affect the user experience of the software, like the first two days out of the new 12306 purchase ticket system, compared to the old version, there are many changes in the interface color more than the beauty of the orange, comfortable sky blue mainly. There are many features that have been modified. As shown in figure:
UI (User Interface), which is the interface, is familiar to software developers, and the importance of UI design in a system cannot be overlooked. In the long term interface design evolution, there are three "golden rules": Placing users under control, reducing the user's memory burden and keeping the interface consistent. These golden rules form the basis for guiding user interface design principles.
1. Under the control of the user
The end-user of the software is the user, and the user wants a system that responds to its needs and can help him complete the operation. What the user wants is to control the computer, not the computer to control the user.
2. Reduce the user's memory burden
The more things a user needs to remember, the greater the likelihood of an error interacting with the system. For this reason, a well-designed user interface does not add to the user's memory burden. The application stores the relevant information internally and assists users with interactive scenarios that can help with memory.
3. Keep the interface consistent
Users should display and obtain information in a consistent manner. The consistency of a software system style enables users to personalize the system at different levels and make the system easier to use. All visual information organizations maintain the design standards that are maintained across all screen displays.
