1. The startup item is the program that the system will run on the front end or back end when the system is started. Generally, we mainly talk about the startup item of the Windows system computer.

There are two methods to set the boot item:First, enable/disable startup in the system, and second, set whether to enable startup through the software itself.

2. If all the boot items are blocked, the system startup will not be affected, but some programs may not run automatically and need to be started manually.

The following describes how to block startup items in different systems, and which ones are not recommended.

Method 1: call the "system configuration utility" function under the system to enable/disable the startup item:

Windows XP:

1. Click Start-run, enter "msconfig", and click OK, as shown in the figure:

2. In the pop-up system configuration utility interface, click "Start" to retain the startup items of the ctfmon input method. Other items can be blocked and the startup items to be blocked, remove the check box from the previous check box. After testing, the instance can be started properly, as shown in the following figure:

Note: The ctfmon startup item is an input method option and is not recommended to be blocked. Otherwise, you must adjust the advanced text service in the control panel-region and language to use the input method normally;

Windows 7:

The startup items in this section are common examples: Realtek high definition audio manager is a program in the control panel, which can be used to set functions such as speakers and microphones, and usb3.0 monitoring, it is the USB interface under win7 that requires USB driver support. We do not recommend blocking it;

Windows 8/8. 1/10:

3. On the Task Manager page that appears, click "Start". You can click any option and then click "disable" to disable all the startup items, as shown in the following figure:

Tip: The items of startup items vary in different system environments. If you do not know the specific function options, we recommend that you do not block them for the moment. You can contact the after-sales hotline for help, for example: Yes. we recommend that you do not block the startup items with extensions such as dll.
