First, it is impossible to collect data from the inside of the brain, second, it is difficult to track people's external behaviors, and the output reusability of software development is poor (data is difficult to be reused between software projects ). I have heard that the 8-hour working system supported by data in industrial production lines is the most reliable, so capitalists do not require employees to work overtime. So far, software enterprises cannot survive without working overtime, this idea is still recognized by many bosses and employees.
Commitment. Commitment is related to the recognition of goals, but this mental activity cannot be quantified at all. Therefore, even if cmmi5 is implemented, it does not mean that the commitment is valid. In turn, many cmmi1 enterprises and teams have high efficiency, low costs, and clear targets, because they are highly trusted.
There is no best, only better, And cmme also tries to find better methods in terms of goals, quantification, and commitment. These methods are worth learning.
