tl-wr840n wireless routers as a way to use a wireless switch
1. Connecting computers and routers
Connect the settings computer to the LAN port of the router to ensure that the computer automatically obtains the IP address and DNS server address.
Note: To avoid IP addresses or DHCP server conflicts, the router is temporarily not connected to the front-end network.
2, Login Management interface
Empty the Address bar and enter the admin address tplogin.cn, as follows:
Set the management password for the router (if you have already set it, enter the password directly), click OK:
3, enter the routing settings
Click the Skip Wizard, as shown below:
After entering the admin interface, click on the routing settings as follows:
Click on the wireless settings below the main page, as shown below:
Set the wireless name, wireless password, click Save, the following figure:
Note: Wireless name does not recommend the setting of Chinese or special characters, wireless password at least 8 digits, in order to ensure network security, strong password to ensure the strength.
Click on the DHCP server, click Close, as shown below:
Click the LAN port settings, modify the same network as the main router and the different IP address, the following figure:
After saving, the computer will retrieve the IP address and click OK:
The router is partially set up and the router is connected to the front-end network. Connection method: Connect the LAN port of the router (that is, the 1~4 interface) to the LAN port (or LAN switch) of the front-end router. At this point when the wireless switch (wireless AP) has been set up, the wireless terminal can connect to the router's wireless network.
