First use the Drawing toolbar to draw a graphic that you want to crop, such as an ellipse. When you select the ellipse, click Fill Effects from the list menu on the Drawing toolbar by clicking the Fill Color button on the right black triangle. Open Select the Picture tab, click the (Select Picture) button, find the appropriate picture from the Select Picture dialog box, and then return to the Fill Effect dialog box to exit after the last click (OK) button. This image appears as the background of an elliptical figure, changing the original shape of the rectangle and obtaining a satisfactory result of cropping the picture.
