To open a transaction for the Informix database

1, first in the Informix database installation root directory under the ETC folder to find a configuration file named Onconfig.on_xxxx;

2. Open the Onconfig.on_xxxx file, locate the Tapedev \\.\tape0 in the No. 409 row, replace the \\.\TAPE0 with a valid path, reference the variable from Informix, and change it to $informixdir\ new folder , the parameter value after the change is similar to Tapedev $INFORMIXDIR \ New Folder (make sure that this path is valid and that the folder already exists);

3, in the Start menu-the program found a command window named Ol_xxxxx to start the program, and open;

4, enter the command ontape-s-u database name, follow the prompts to select the transaction level (provide 0,1,2), enter the appropriate level and return, complete.
