In Word2010 documents, formulas are embedded objects and cannot be moved freely in the document, as text boxes, pictures, and other objects are set to be not inline text wrapping. The user can set the formula to the left, center, and right alignment only in the horizontal direction, as follows:
Click the Word2010 formula to make it editable, and then click the Formula Options Drop-down triangle button to the right of the formula. In the Drop-down menu that opens, point to justify, and select the left, center, right, or center options in the Open Next Level menu, as shown in Figure 1 below.

Tip: Users can also set the alignment of the formula in the paragraph group in the start ribbon of the Word2010 document window, as shown in Figure 2.
