The creation of a piece of work often begins with "simplicity". First, the topic you want to explain is what the main content of the topic is. In other words, according to the theme of a picture, select the "main form" of the topic. This "main form content" is critical. With the main form of content, only to talk about the composition of the problem, otherwise, bricks without straw, not to be implemented.

In composition, I like to follow the "from big to small, from the master to the second, from simple to complex" design process. The whole thing must be considered first, the details can be more and more, but not disorderly. If the pursuit of complex and changeable effects at the outset, it is difficult to control later. First grasp the whole, and then the various changes cleverly into the big law, this is every designer should master a principle. Well, let me talk about the picture on the left.

First of all, this picture is to imply the "computer graphics design process" such a feeling. At first, I want to put the computer graphics and image design of several major software performance, such as Photoshop, Coreldraw, Freehand, painter, 3DMAX, and so on, wish to use. After careful consideration, I chose only two software, namely Freehand and 3DMAX. One reflects the spatial structure and texture mapping, one represents the graphic design and accurate curve editing. That's enough. And too many of the program interface heap together, will only make people feel duplicate, identical. As for my choice of a basketball model of the production process, and did not choose more complex such as car models, the reason is also for "simplicity." Considering that the interface is mostly rectangular, I'm going to use the "simplest chunk segmentation" approach to the composition. I anticipate that the finished picture will have many 90 degrees of folding angle, and round basketball, will be with those folding angle formed a very natural contrast, if it is a high-grade sedan, the effect is not necessarily good.

The idea is set, start immediately! I first in the CorelDRAW to draw a number of different sizes of long squares, representing a variety of program interface, and placed at random for a while. The final plan is to place diagonally. In the finished picture, you can also see that the top left corner of the basketball picture to the lower right corner of the colorful box, is placed diagonally, this is the main line. And, they are shrunk a lot, making the outer contour form some small ladder, the 3DMAX interface with the following large folding angle contrast, they are very similar, but a small, direction, so that the split out of the white part to become good-looking not equilateral, so that the triangle from the right edge of the screen to form a sharp angle, the various rectangles , forming a kind of expansion force, the structure of the picture will be more firm and stable. (If you can make the void itself form a structure, it is often quite forceful). The top left corner of the basketball picture is "finished work", so only it is complete. And give it a shadow effect, in this composition concise picture does not need to give it more effect, it has been very prominent, so, should grasp the discretion. The three-dimensional grid sphere interface, which is the largest in the screen, on the one hand, it is to explain the production process of the basketball image, on the other hand, those grid lines can make up for the monotony of the rectangular surface and too much "face" feeling; As for giving it some sense of basketball, just to better echo the picture above, and make it easier for people to understand meaning. One more thing is that it makes a rectangular blank at the bottom of the whole picture. This contrasts with the upper-right triangular gap and makes the "base" more secure. and its color sense in the picture is weak, so will not destroy the diagonal structure of the feeling.

Here, it seems to be done. But if that is the case, it is not enough. Because the whole picture has been divided into a regular structure, but each block is too complete, the change is also a little bit. This image has a good foundation, but there is still some to explore. Just said, first grasp the whole, and then the various changes cleverly into the big law. Study, the gap of the triangle is not too big? If you add a few curves, neither destroy its overall sense, but also make the screen active, and basketball has a beautiful three lines, using it to reflect the freehand accurate curve editor, is not very good? In addition, in order to make a few more changes in the triangle, I am in the middle of the material setting box at the top, horizontally extend a cue bar, and gradually degenerate, hidden in the triangular region. Finally, after staring at the work for a long time, I feel that all the parts are tightly linked, although the overall feeling is strong, but also lack of a separate individual to contend with it, so add the upper right of the desert small picture. At the same time, it can make people understand that basketball and the desert are later combined together.

The above is the design process of this image. In the actual design, of course there will be more repetition. The topic of this article is about the law, I have been talking about the law. Yes, in the composition of the screen, will be flexible to apply the law, is the best. Take a closer look at this sketch, there are many so-called "laws". For example, the left side of the colorful picture in the lower right corner, with the left side of the desert picture above, the right-hand side of the mine curve Editor, the right side of the material setting box, and the hint bar that gradually disappears, they are all approximate to the same vertical line. Of these, the three curve Editor's right extends slightly to the right, because it is the weakest, and if it is aligned, it will feel slightly less. For example, or the right bottom of the colorful picture, its top and left material set the bottom edge of the box is basically on the same horizontal line, they seem to connect, in the subconscious produced a connection. If you look again, what rules can be found?
