Tossing Mono on Solaris 10x86

This is an exceptional process. Write it down and record it.

Download the gz compressed pkg package of Solaris 10 from downloading in http://www.mono-project.com.

I didn't know how to install the pkg package at first.

The name is mono.gz.

1. Decompress: First decompress gz and run the command line: # Write/mono.gz if gunzip/path exists.

After decompression, there is a file without a suffix: (The window System uses RAR to see the suffix named mono. pkg, And the suffix is invisible when Soloris is enabled)

2. Install: run # pkgadd-d Mono in VI. Yes, but it failed to be installed!

The installation process prompts that some dependent packages are not installed. The installation is successful!

[? :?? : Q] garbled format. The input is from 1 to 8 and then the carriage return is checked for a long time. It is found that this is everywhere. Just press Enter.

The missing installation package cannot be installed at first. And then sent:

Http://www.sunfreeware.com/download.

But I am looking for half a day, because I do not know how to download it.

Finally, we found that we can find many packages at solaris 10 x86 on the far right.

Find the desired package, click it, locate the package name in the middle, and click it to download it.

The downloaded file is still in the gz format. Follow the steps 1 and 2 to decompress the package.

3. After installation, you cannot find setup. sh. Run the command # pkgrm mono to delete the installer and reinstall it. The installation is invalid.

After installing Mono for N times, all dependencies are encapsulated. No setup. sh found

Xsp and mod_mono do not know where to install them.

4. We found that the downloaded version of solaris10x86 does not support the linear version.
