Q
: What are the problems caused by insufficient power supply?
A: If the power supply is insufficient, IPC may be unable to start, Infrared night vision switch failed, NVR may be hard to boot and other abnormal problems, please be sure to use the specifications required power.
Q : Is it possible to use centralized power supply?
A: Can, but due to partial centralized power supply virtual standard specifications, resulting in output voltage/flow is insufficient, please confirm the use.
The NVR on the back sticker indicates the required power supply specifications, please use the power adapter included with the box. If you are purchasing a power supply, be sure to use the power supply that meets the power supply specifications.
IPC's shell labeling indicated the power supply specifications, the following figure, IPC voltage is DC 12V, the actual output current requirements are not less than the maximum current (ie 6w/12v=0.5a), that is, the need to be equipped with 12V 0.5A power supply.
Note: different types of IPC power specifications may vary, please refer to the actual labeling parameters.
The standard Poe-powered IPC indicates the power supply on the tail sticker, as shown below. You can use a POE switch that supports the IEEE 802.3af/at standard to power the IPC, or you can use a DC12V power adapter to power it.
