1. Open an image file. As shown in the following illustration:
If necessary, read the Photoshop CS6 to open the file.
2. Select the "Filter" menu, click the "Filter Gallery" command, open the Filter Gallery dialog box, click on the "Art effects" filter group, in the Drop-down list, click the "Wood" filter. As shown in the following illustration:
Levels of color: Sets the color level of the image. The larger the value, the more the color type of the image is displayed.
Edge Simplification: Sets the edge simplification level of the resulting woodcut image. The larger the value, the simpler the edge.
Edge Fidelity: Sets the fidelity of the edge of a woodcut image. The larger the value, the more similar the resulting image is to the original image.
3. After setting the option in the dialog box, click on the "OK" button to apply the "woodcut" filter to the image. As shown in the following illustration:
Tips
When you modify a parameter in a dialog box, if you hold down the ALT key, the Cancel button in the dialog box becomes the Reset button, and clicking the reset button restores the parameter to its original state.
