Two solutions to the lack of operating system resources

When the system resources are insufficient, we can modify the registry key value method, so that after the software shutdown automatically erase the memory of the unused DLL files in time to recover the consumed system resources. Open Registry Editor, find "Hkey_local_machinesoftwaremicrosoftwindowscurrentversionexplorer" as the primary key, right-click in the right window, and create a new name this " Alwaysunloaddii "String Value", then change the key value of "alwaysunloaddii" to "1", and quit the registry to restart the machine to achieve the goal.
First Scenario
1. Clear the Clipboard
When a picture or large piece of text is stored in the Clipboard, it takes up more memory. Clear the contents of the Clipboard and free up the system resources it occupies: Click Start, point to Programs, point to attachments, point to System Tools, click Clipboard Viewer, and then on the Edit menu, click Delete.
2. Restart your computer
Simply quit the program and do not restart the computer, and the program may not be able to return the resources it occupies to the system. Please restart your computer to free system resources.
3. Reduce the automatic operation of the program
If there are too many programs running automatically when you start Windows, you will not have enough system resources to run other programs even if you restart your computer. To set Windows do not start too many programs: first, click start → run, type msconfig, click OK, click the Startup tab, and clear the check box before the program you want to start from. Second, click start → run, type "Sysedit", and click OK to remove unwanted Autoexec.bat from the "Win.ini" and "Config.sys" files. Then, restart the computer.
4. Set Virtual memory
Low virtual memory can also cause the system to run incorrectly. You could manually configure virtual memory in the System Properties dialog box to move the default location of virtual memory to another partition with a large free space.
5. Bugs or damage to applications
Some applications are designed to have bugs or have been destroyed, and the runtime may conflict with Windows or scramble for resources, resulting in insufficient system resources. There are two solutions: one is to upgrade the problem software, the second is to uninstall the software, modify other similar software.
6. Memory Optimization Software
Many memory optimization software, such as RAM Idle and Memo kits, can automatically empty the Clipboard, release the system resources that are not released by the shutdown program, organize the virtual memory files (WIN386.SWP), and so on, eliminating the trouble of manual operation, and achieving the purpose of automatically releasing system resources.
The second option
1. Disabling part of the startup entry
Loading too many applications at startup can cause Windows to be "blue screen" due to severe system resources, so it is best to run "Msconfig" to disable part of the application. or use the Windows Optimizer master to do it.
2. Set up enough virtual memory
A lack of virtual memory can also cause system multitasking errors, we may resolve this problem by deleting some temporary files and swapping files from time to time, in addition to manually configuring virtual memory under System properties and transferring the default location of virtual memory to other logical disks. and set it up a little bit larger.
3. Keep enough space for the hard drive
Because the Win9x need to use hard disk as virtual memory, this requires that the hard disk must retain a certain free space to ensure the normal operation of the program. Generally speaking, the minimum should ensure that more than 100MB of space, otherwise the "blue screen" is likely to be too small with the hard disk space. In addition, too much fragmentation of the hard disk, but also easy to cause "blue screen" appearance. Therefore, it is necessary to defragment every once in a while.
4. Using Memory management software
The rest is miscellaneous, such as the ability to waste resources without activedesktop. Use memory management software, such as RAM idle. Develop good habits and shut them down for the time being.
