In general, many of the Ngui features are integrated, such as ngui2.x for additional sets of scripts to handle stretching, and ngui3.x to start introducing new anchor points. Plus the dependency Boxcollider makes the entire HUD display very messy
And Ugui is very clear, you can also see clearly how to set the stretch.
But there are also some misleading designs and non-human designs.
1.Anchor
Recttransform intersect in Ngui, in fact slightly more complex. In Ngui 3.x you have to handle stretching you can set the anchor anchor mode directly, or you can hang a full-screen stretch script.
And, in Ngui you can set any node as the parent node, while in Ugui you only have to set the upper level as the parent node
2.Pivot
The pivot settings in Ngui are visualized, and I know whether to align left or right. And in Ugui you have to manually adjust the pivot value ...
But initially the user will only subconsciously think that the upper-left corner of the anchor set box is set pivot alignment, the results found not. A serious misleading effect
3.BluePoint mode and Rawedit mode
3.1 Bluepoint Mode
The existing zoom and rotation values will not be applied when editing recttransform, and adsorption mode will also be turned on
Can be understood as local coordinates and world coordinates:
3.2 Rawedit Mode
When you edit pivot and anchor, the position and size values are not changed when you turn on
I may not understand, anyway, I don't really need such a feature when I'm using Ngui.
On: Change the anchor point without changing the coordinates
When closed: Change the anchor point, changing the coordinate value
4. Screen stretching
Ngui you set a lot of empty objects, there is no problem. and Ugui because the anchor anchor point is affected by the parent level, so you should pay extra attention when you set empty objects.
If the outermost panel is not stretched full-screen, the sub-level anchor position is constrained in the RECT
So you need to pay attention to the above point, there are not many stretching patterns, others will not be too many problems.
