In Windows, we use tortoisesvn to conveniently view, compare, update, submit, roll back, and other SVN version control operations. In Linux, we can use rapidsvn.
Rapidsvn is a good SVN client software, which is smaller than tortoise SVN and consumes less system resources to run quickly. In ubuntu, Apt-Get can be used for easy installation:
Sudo apt-Get install rapidsvn
The diff and Edit tools are not configured in rapidsvn by default. Therefore, if you need to open a file or a diff file, you must configure the path of the corresponding tool by yourself.
On Ubuntu and other machines, you can set it as follows:
Click the menu bar ==> 'view/preferences... 'To set parameters, you can select the corresponding Program.
There is a list of recommended programs on the official website: in Linux, we can use scintilla/scite as the editor and Nautilus as the explorer ), kdiff3 can be used for diff and merge tools. These programs are installed in the/usr/bin directory by default. You only need to link these executable files in the attribute settings of rapidsvn.
