Ubuntu keyboard case indicator: Indicator-keylock

If many computers do not have a hardware case-insensitive indicator, install a software indicator: Indicator-keylock. When you enable the upper-case indicator, the indicator Displays the upper-case status and a prompt box appears, for example:

Installation Method:

Input in sequence on the terminal

Sudo add-Apt-repository PPA: tsbarnes/indicator-keylock

Sudo apt-Get update

Sudo apt-Get install indicator-keylock

After installation, restart your computer. To use the indicator light as the number key, go to system-preference-indicator-lockkeys to set it.

There are more convenient methods and better:

Sudo apt-Get install lock-keys-Applet

Right-click the Panel and choose "add to panel" and select "lock keys.
