Ubuntu12.04 Install the Chrome browser and add to the left side of the launch bar

Download the Google Chrome deb package on Google's website with 32-bit and 64-bit points:How to determine whether the system is 32-bit or 64-bit, you can use the following code:

Use Terminal installation directly:
1. Press Ctrl+alt+t to open the terminal: Switch to the directory where you downloaded the chrome:

Download

2. Installation:

-I google-Chrome-stable_current_i386.  Deb      

Wait for installation ... The error will be prompted, the dependency is not met, and the installation cannot be installed.
3. Next, we resolve the dependency relationship.

sudo apt-get-F install   

In this way, the dependent packages are installed automatically, and then the Google-chrome is automatically installed and done.

How to add the browser to the start bar on the left, as described below:

Click the Dash home page, locate the installed program, and then click Open. After opening, it will appear on the left side of the program icon, the mouse on the icon click on the right mouse button, a drop-down menu appears. Click "Lock from Initiator" so that you can add the program to the launch bar. Also want to cancel when the right-click, in the drop-down menu, select "Unlock from Start" This program will disappear from the left side of the boot bar.
