Gmlive
It is a general-purpose streaming media playing shell. It uses the all-powerful mplayer
The player is an engine. The objective is to support multiple types of P2P Broadcast video streams in Linux and provide a convenient and quick solution for viewing online videos.
Lerosua only releases the source code of 0.22 beta, but this message is published in linuxtoy.
Later, the netizen daliansky
Deb package is released.
First download gmlive_022-1_i386.deb
And gmlive-extra
1) gmlive_022-1_i386.deb double-click to install, I did not prompt the lack of dependency when installing on the notebook, but if your computer installation is missing dependency, run sudo apt-get-F install to solve the problem.
2) unzip the gmlive-extra.tar.gz, copy the xpplive and SP-SC-auth files to the/usr/local/bin/directory, CD enter the directory after decompression, and then:
$ Sudo MV xpplive/usr/local/bin/
$ Sudo mv sp-SC-auth/usr/local/bin/
At this point, clicking the application/Audio/Video/gmlive menu does not start gmlive successfully because a dependency package called libglademm-2.4-1c2a is missing. The source contains the following commands.
$ Sudo apt-Get install libglademm-2.4-1c2a
Gmlive supports PPLIVE and sopcast for network TVs. Sometimes many channels may not be able to read the PPLIVE. I don't have high requirements. Just watch the NBA.
The mplayer must be installed on the computer.
This is what I did this morning. I am watching the Lakers now:
