Environment:

DELPHI XE, Unidac 6.2.8, (options->provider=prnativeclient) program is compiled and placed on Windows Server 2003 (SP2 32-bit) to run,

Connection MSSQL2005 (32-bit) times the following error:

Named pipe provider: There are no processes on the other end of the pipeline.

Determine that the SQL Server Native Client driver is already installed.

Workaround: Enable the named Pipes protocol.
