Unity 8 desktop get 3D task switcher
According to a report from omgUbuntu, Unity 8 officially tested a switching application. We should be familiar with seeing the following picture, because this feature was available in Linux a long time ago, now Unity 8 may be somewhat different, and the switch will be smoother. Visually, it looks like Windows Aero 3D flip and OS X Mission Control, and horizontal carousel window preview.

In addition, Unity 8 will only be used as the default desktop of Ubuntu October 2016 in 16.10, and only one preview version is released in 16.04. Therefore, Unity 7 is the default desktop in 16.04.
Now you can try Unity 8, but the function is not perfect and cannot be used as a production system. Download:
