start with a new project first, and don't import any packages, name them and choose where we want to store them. It is recommended to create a separate workspace for Unity3d, specifically for UNITY3D projects. After the creation is complete, enter Unity3d,we will see the initial interface of the project. for ease of management, let's start by creating a new importedassets and scenes two folders in the Assets folder in Project view below .A resource file to put into the import, one to put our scene, because a game often requires multiple scenes, so usually we want to build managementthe habits of our game resource files.

First select the scene view's camera, delete the camera, and we'll add unity's own first view controller.

Create a new folder under the Importedassets folder meshes to store our grid model and go to the Meshes folder. Right-click to select Importnew Asset, respectively, into the resource file, Mineshaft_ceiling,mineshaft_floor,mineshaft_wall three files. The import file can drag the model resource directly into Project view without right-clicking import, but if it isusing this method to import a resource, the original path of the resource is changed or the resource is renamed, which can cause problems.
These three models are the basic models for setting up a scene. Let's start by dragging the Mineshaft_floor floor model into the scene view,to determine athe scale of our model. In particular, we see that this floor model is particularly small when dragged into the scene view because different three-dimensional animation software differs from Unity's unit-proportional relationships. My operating system is Mac OS, installed is CHEETAH3D, the model is automatically recognized as a cheetah3d file, so I checked the model, in the right side of the Inspector view, the scale inside adjust the value, XYZ is changed to 10, so that the size will return to normal. Scale in Unity3d you can freely adjust, here say the common three-dimensional software and Unity3d unit proportional relationship.

After you have determined the scaling, then import the ceiling and wall files and adjust the scale to the same as floor. If the wall model is not visible,need to hold right button, wasd adjust angle, because here the model of the wall from the other side is not visible. After importing the model, you can optionally drag the model or change the position of the XYZ axis in inspector.

After importing the model we clicked File,save scene and saved our scene to the scene folder we created earlier.
