Description

I think many people need to use a USB flash drive to install the system. For example, you have no system disk at hand, for example, you have no optical drive ...... The following content is to teach you how to convert a USB flash drive into a CD that can be used to install the system! However, please note that important data should be backed up before these operations, and the USB flash disk will be formatted. If you reinstall the system, all data on the system disk will be lost. Please be careful when performing these operations, or do the experiment on the virtual machine now.

Preparations

1. 1 USB flash drive. The size should not be too large, but 2 GB or above is always required.

2. One CD + one computer with an optical drive

3. If condition 2 is not met, download a system disk image, ISO or IMG ......

4. ultraiso (Green Version Download: http://dl.dbank.com/c0j0xq0afg)

5. Back up important system disk files to non-system disks and save files in the USB flash disk to non-system disks.

Create an image file

1. Put the disc into the optical drive and wait for the disk to be read normally. "My Computer" can be displayed normally.

2. Run ultraiso and choose "Tools"> "Create a CD image file..." from the top menu bar ..."

3. In the dialog box, set the file path and address in the "output image file name" Column (preferably in the same folder as ultraiso, Suffix. ISO), select "Standard ISO" for the output format, and click "make"

4. Wait about 10 minutes (the DVD may take about 20 minutes), and the system installation disk image (that is, the. ISO file) will appear in the target folder)

5. If there is no CD or no optical drive, skip the above steps to download a CD image. For example, you can find

Write image to USB flash drive

1. Use ultraiso to open the created (or downloaded) ISO file.

2. Insert a USB flash drive and click "start" in ultraiso --> "Write hard disk image... ", note: After this step, the USB flash drive will be forcibly formatted. Please check again whether the data in your USB flash drive is backed up!

3. In the dialog box, select your USB flash drive from the "Hard Drive" drop-down list )., My name is sandiskcruzer. After everything is okay, click "write"

4. Wait until the writing is completed. do not perform any operations after the prompt is successful. Unplug the USB flash drive.

Start from USB flash drive

Adjust the BIOS settings so that it starts from the U disk first (this tutorial is very clear, with a diagram: http://blog.myspace.cn/e/408400803.htm? From = blogprofilebottom), if everything is normal, you can see the image of the system installation disk, It will be successful!

More flexible configuration of your USB flash drive...

The above method is to make the system CD into an "image" and write it into the USB flash drive. In fact, you can also put windowspe (Windows system for maintenance) into a USB flash disk, and then configure the installation file, you can place multiple installation files as needed (. gho) to the U disk, you can also add more maintenance software for the U disk.

To be prepared:

1. A windowspe image, which is also an ISO file, is recommended for the version of the dark red leaves: http://www.newhua.com/soft/102932.htm

2, osghost (http://www.cncrk.com/downinfo/11970.html), this is a graphical ghost, better than the PE built-in ghost a little better

3. One system backup file with the suffix. gho -- some installation CDs contain the. gho file.

Use ultraiso to open the windowspe Image

Write the windowspe image to the USB flash drive according to the previous steps, and then unplug the USB flash drive.

After re-inserting the USB flash drive, copy the. gho file to the root directory of the USB flash drive. If the capacity is sufficient, it is okay to copy a few copies.

Download the osghost and copy it to the root directory of the USB flash drive.

Finally, start from the USB flash drive, enter PE, and run osghost

Select "Restore partition", confirm "Ghost Image File Path" in the subsequent dialog box, and select a disk for restoration (generally, disk C is selected)

After restoring the file, go to the Start Menu of PE and find "Windows boot fix", select the corresponding system, and fix the boot file!
