In Word2003, the option buttons in the dialog box are divided into radio buttons and check boxes. The check boxes appear in groups, and users can select more than one check box at a time when they are selected. A checkmark is marked in the selected check box, and then clicked again to cancel the selection, as shown in Figure 1.

Radio buttons usually appear in groups, and users can select only one radio button at a time when a radio button is selected. When one radio button is selected, other radio buttons in the same group are automatically deselected. A dot appears in the selected radio button, and clicking the radio button again cancels the selection, as shown in Figure 2.

In the Word2003 document window, a generic button includes a variety of command buttons that are executed immediately, the most commonly used are "OK", "Cancel", "close" and "apply", and so on, in the dialog box to set the various options click OK to close the dialog box and immediately execute the settings in the dialog box. Click the Cancel button to close the dialog box and cancel the setting in the dialog box. In some cases, the Cancel button changes to the Close button when some operations that cannot be canceled are performed. Click the Close button to close the dialog box, but the settings will be executed at the same time, as shown in Figure 3.

The additional button in the Word2003 document window works like a command with a suffix "..." symbol, and clicking it opens another dialog box that allows the user to further set the command, as shown in Figure 4.
