The internet is excited by the innovative features of Google's browser, and there is no significant gap in our speed tests, so your choice may depend entirely on functionality. With the exception of a handful of specific features (such as process Management), many of the best features of Google's browser can be implemented on FIREFOX3, again demonstrating the power of Firefox's powerful expansion. From stealth browsing, streamlined download management to Web site highlighting and improved search, let's take a look at the excellent features of Google's browser into Firefox.
Stealther Open Stealth Browsing mode
Google browser's stealth browsing feature allows you to browse various sites without leaving any traces of history on the computer. In Firefox, Stealther extensions can play the same role. The main difference is: Google Browser, a window can be isolated into stealth mode, and Firefox can only be enabled in the global scope (Google Browser can do this, because each of its tabs are an independent process). But, frankly, is multitasking really that good?
Show download status in status bar (surprise!)
Completely to save space, Google browser you download files will not be displayed in a separate window, but displayed in the status bar. That's great, but think about it: Firefox expanded to show downloads in the status bar five years ago, and it offers a lot of additional options and less space for display.
Speed Dial and Auto Dial enrich your empty tags.
Google Browser's Empty tab--it shows the site you recently browsed, the most commonly used search box, and even your recently closed tabs--very powerful. These features are not yet fully implemented in Firefox, but some options are very close. The Speed Dial extension (a fast dialing feature from opera) provides a very similar thumbnail-based tabbed browser feature, and you can use keyboard shortcuts to decide which Web site you want to quickly access.
