As you know, with the fill handle you can quickly enter some built-in sequences (such as ordinal numbers, dates, and so on) into the table. However, there is a problem I still do not understand, Excel software is developed by foreigners, incredibly can not automatically fill in the order of 26 English letters! Is there a way to quickly enter this sequence?
There, we use function conversion to achieve the automatic filling of 26 letters:
If you enter "A, B, C ..." From A2 start, first enter the formula =char (65+row ()-2) in cell A2, and then drag down with the fill handle, and then enter the formula B2 in the =char cell, if you enter "A, B, C ..." from B2 to the right (65+ COLUMN ()-2), and then drag right with the fill handle.
Attention:
① If you need to enter a lowercase alphabetical sequence, just modify the above two formulas individually: =char (97+row ()-2), =char (97+column ()-2)
② can also be made into a built-in sequence of letters, which can also be entered quickly.
