Use flurry to count and analyze user behavior

Brief introduction

Flurry is a company that provides data statistics and analysis for mobile applications. Their data Analysis SDK supports platforms including iphone, IPad, Android, Windows Phone, Java me and BlackBerry. Companies that use flurry services include more than 110,000 companies, including ebay, Yahoo, Hulu and Skype, which involve more than 360,000 applications.

Using the analysis platform provided by flurry, we can easily automatically statistic the usage of the application, for example:

Number of logged-in users per day (weekly or monthly), number of applications used

Number of new users per day (weekly or monthly), active users

Location, age and gender distribution of the user

Flurry can also automatically count the categories of mobile devices, such as:

Session proportions using 3g,wifi

Use the ratio of versions of the iOS system (e.g. iOS6.0, iOS7.0, etc.)

Use of iOS devices (e.g. iPhone4, iPhone5, etc.) ratio

In addition to the automatic statistical items described above, the Flurry SDK also provides statistical APIs that allow us to make targeted statistics for our own product characteristics. For example, a statistical application of a button in the number of times, or network requests for the average response time.

Basic use of flurry

Register and download the corresponding SDK

Before using flurry, you need to go to the official website http://www.flurry.com/registered account. Then login to the flurry background, in turn select "Applications"-> "Add a New application" to add a need for statistical analysis of the application. As shown in the following illustration:
