According to tests, the access speed of Google.com in the world is good. I guess that Google.com is connected to the world through its own network. Therefore, the access speed is satisfactory anywhere in the world.
The company has a server in the United States, which is unbearable for access in China. It does not need to mention the transfer of files. It is basically unable to transmit files every second for about 2 K, generally, website updates are saved on a CD and then delivered to the United States.
Today, the CEO suddenly wants to update the website, and more than 40 MB of content will be transferred in the past. At the beginning, the content is directly transmitted over FTP, and will be disconnected every few minutes. Although it can be resumed, but it takes at least five hours to upload 40 MB of data.
Later, I thought of using the network advantages of Google.com, and I was not sure whether it could increase the transmission speed at the beginning. After testing, I sent more than 40 M to the U.S. server within half an hour, the speed has indeed increased a lot.
The basic idea is to use Gmail Drive to connect to Gmial, upload it from China to Gmail, and then download it from abroad.
The steps are as follows:
1. Use Winrar to package files (the Winrar volume-based packaging function, in the format of ipaddr.partX.rar) and split them into several small files, each of which is about 5 MB
2. Install Gmail Drive on both local and remote servers
3. upload files locally to Gmail via Gmail Drive. The upload speed is very good. It takes about 5 m minutes to complete uploading, and 40 m is more than 20 minutes.
4. On the U.S. server, use Gmail Drive to download data from Gmail. The download speed is very fast.
5. Use Winrar to merge and decompress
6. Complete Transfer.
