Use Hot Key Quick Select excel2007/2003 visible cells

After you subtotal the data in an Excel worksheet, often we just need to summarize the results without having to participate in the aggregated data, so you display the summarized results to level 2, hide the data that is involved in the totals, and then select and copy them. But when you paste them into another worksheet, you find that the data that was originally hidden from the participating totals is copied and displayed. What should I do about it?

To work around this problem, you can do the following things again:

1. To show the aggregated results to level 2;

2. For Excel2003, on the Edit menu, click Position, click Locate Criteria, select the Visible Cells Check button, and then click OK.

For Excel2007, click the Start tab, in the Edit group, click Find and select, click Position Criteria, select the Visible Cells Check button, and then click OK.

3. Copy and paste the selection into the new worksheet.

In fact, step 2 above can be replaced with a hotkey, that is, ALT +;(semicolon), because the hot key is to select only visible cells in the current range. While the function is the same, using hotkeys is much quicker than using commands.
