Use irfanview to convert an image file to a PDF file (a PDF file is created from an image)

To create a PDF file from an image using irfanview, you must first download and install the ifranview plug-in package:

Open irfanview and run the menu command: options -- muitipage images -- create multipage PDF... (plugin ):

The create multipage PDF file dialog box is displayed:

1. Add the image file used to create a PDF file to the file list box. There are several methods:

Method 1: click "add images" to select and add

Method 2: first save the file specifier of the image to be used to create a PDF file to the TXT file, and then click "load from TXT" to select the TXT file, the image files listed in the TXT file will be added.

Method 3: drag and drop the image file to the "Create multipage PDF file" dialog box

2. There are two ways to sort image files:

Method 1: click "Sort Files ".

Method 2: click the "move files up" button to move up the position of the selected file in the file list box. Click the "move files down" button, you can move the position of the selected file in the file list box downward.

3. Create a PDF file. Click "compression" to bring up the "pdf setting" dialog box:

You can set whether to display the preview and whether to open the PDF file automatically after it is generated.

After setting, click "OK" and return to the "Create multipage PDF file" dialog box.

4. Set the PDF file output directory. You can enter it directly or click "Browse.

5. Enter the PDF file name.

6. Click "creatge PDF image" to bring up the "Save PDF" dialog box.

 

On the "layout" tab, you can set the page layout.

On the "content" tab, you can set the title, author, topic, and keywords.

On the "open" tab, you can open the PDF file in window or full screen mode. If you use full screen mode, you can further customize the settings.

 

On the compression tab, you can set the compression quality for your image type.

 

On the "Security" tab, you can set the encryption level and user operation permissions.

Click "save" after setting.

If the password is set on the Security tab, the "password to create and modify the PDF" dialog box appears, prompting you to enter and repeat the password.

If you do not enter a password, a random password is automatically enabled:

After clicking "yes", irfanview starts to create a PDF file. After creation, a prompt box is displayed: Operation sucessfull!

 

If "open PDF after saying" is selected in the "pdf setting" dialog box, irfanview automatically opens the PDF file.
