You can use Quick CHM or easychm to create e-book tools, but the quick chm I tested cannot be used in Windows 7. If we want to save a webpage, just click "Save webpage" as shown above;
To save multiple webpages, follow these steps:
①: Enable "auto save mode" (in the tool menu );
②: Tools → options → save → Automatic save by webpage URL (prevent too many duplicate webpages );
③: Enter the address of the webpage to be saved in the URL bar (remember to connect to the internet). Then, each page clicked on will be automatically saved in the left column (saved in the date folder );
④: Right-click the folder (or a single file) that you want to export to an e-book and select the HTML Help file.

For the generated CHM ebook, the home page will be set to search for a specific page. If there are a lot of pages, it will lead to a very slow start time (because of loading images ), therefore, you have to modify the CHM File structure and do not know whether the built-in settings of inquiry can modify the structure. You have to use only another software. decompile the CHM File and compile it into CHM. Here I use easychm, And you can adjust the structure. The new project is shown below:

After the adjustment, click compile, as shown in the figure below:
