The email server requires DNS resolution.
1. Install DNS through the control panel. This process is very simple and will not be introduced much.
2. After the DNS is created, go to "start --" management tools -- "DNS" to open the DNS management interface.
3. Right-click "Forward region"-"New region"
Select "Main region"
Enter "Net" for the region name, and click "Next" by default.
Select "allow non-security and security dynamic updates". Ignore the warning and perform internal testing.
Click next and then click Finish.
4. Create a host
Right-click the newly created "Net" area and select "New Host"
Enter the name and IP address, and click "add" Host
5. Create a "mail exchanger (MX)", click the "Net" domain, and select "Create mail exchanger (MX )"
You do not need to fill in "host or subdomain". Select "Browse" from "Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN)" of "Mail Server", and then locate the newly created "etoon" host.
Click "OK" to complete the creation of "mail exchanger (MX )"
6. network connection settings
7. Run the ping command to check whether the etoon.net domain name is connected.
8. Install nmdaemon.
Select "settings --" default domain/Server"
Set default domain name and IP address
9. Check whether the SMTP service has been started.
If "enable SMTP server" cannot be checked (or started), most of the reason is that the default SMTP port number 25 is occupied by SMTP in IIS. You can stop SMTP in IIS. Or modify the SMTP port of MDaemon (select "settings --" default domain/Server ")
10. Add a mailbox. Select "account --" create account ",
Enter account information and click "OK"
10. Start the outlook software and create an "Account"
Select "manually configure Server settings and other server types"
The default value is "Internet email". Click "Next"
Enter the email address and Server IP Address
Click "test account settings". If everything is okay, see the above interface prompt.
