PCAnywhere is Symantec's powerful remote control and management tool. It manages remote computers just as it operates on local machines.
After installation, restart the machine and run pcAnywhere.
If you only want to control other machines, you only need to set the master terminal. If you only want other machines to control this machine, you only need to install the control terminal.
First, let's talk about the control end settings. Click the control end in the main pcAnywhere window.
By default, there are three Controlled Terminals (you can delete or add them as needed). You can choose either of them as follows:
In the LAN, select TCP/IP for the connection item (checked above), and then click Set
Choose whether to enable the controlled terminal to start with the system in the configuration item (this is very important. If you are a network administrator, you cannot start the controlled terminal before the controlled machine, and then go to remote control ?) ------- Of course, if you just want someone to access your computer to solve the problem, you only need to right-click the controlled terminal in the main window as needed-start the controlled terminal.
Next, set the caller (that is, the user name and password required for remote login), click Add User, and set the user name and password.
Set permissions for this user
After you confirm, there will be one more user you just added.
