Use of the md5sum command

Copy the file in fedora and decompress it. An error is returned. Copying and decompressing N times are the same problem, and then try to solve it with md5sum:

Use md5sum on the server to generate a fingerprint (Message Digest): md5sum Boe_ LCD _driver.tgz> Boe_ LCD _driver.md5

Md5sum Boe_ LCD _driver.md5

Output: 80a58edeab15943ed2917aaeafd0d890 Boe_ LCD _driver.md5

Copy the Boe_ LCD _driver.tgz file and the Boe_ LCD _driver.md5 digest file of the file to the same directory on another server:

Md5sum Boe_ LCD _driver.md5

Output: 80a58edeab15943ed2917aaeafd0d890 Boe_ LCD _driver.md5

If the two fingerprints are the same and correct, decompress the file and report no error. The problem is solved.
