In WPS Office 2005, "phonetic Guides" as the features of WPS characters, usually used to annotate Chinese characters, while users can also use the WPS Text "phonetic Guide" function to achieve some special annotations.
In addition to introducing some basic usage of phonetic guides, this article gives a brief introduction to some of the setup techniques.
Add Pinyin to Text
As the name suggests, phonetic guides are phonetic symbols for Chinese characters. Select the Chinese character to be phonetic, in the WPS Text main Menu select "format | Chinese Layout | Phonetic Guide" menu item open the Phonetic Guide dialog box, as shown in Figure 1:
Alignment-provides several alignment methods for phonetic relative text;
Offset--free adjustment of phonetic and text spacing;
Font, font size-adjust the phonetic font and size;
If you need to put the selected text, unified as a whole phonetic notation, instead of each word separately phonetic, select the "Group" button to merge. Clicking the "Word" button cancels the combination effect.
Note: The phonetic guide allows the user to mark Pinyin at a maximum of 29 characters at a time.
Adjust Phonetic callout
After setting the pinyin, if you need to adjust the above callout, the word "", the callout is not marked with a tone. Once you have selected the, select the "format | Chinese typography | Phonetic Guide" menu item, open the Phonetic Guide dialog box, select the vowel you want to change, and then click the "Tone" button to select the tone you want.
If there are some pronunciation settings, the WPS text provides a dropdown box selection.
