The user can adjust the partition capacity using the wizard or manually, to adjust using the wizard, simply select the "Resize one partition" option on the left side of the PQ operator interface, and then follow the prompts; To manually adjust the partition capacity, the steps are as follows.
Step 1: Start the win7 system download of the PartitionMagic software, right-click the disk partition to adjust the capacity, here for C partition, select "Adjust capacity/move" from the pop-up shortcut menu, as shown in Figure 1.
Step 2: Open the Adjust capacity/move partition-C: dialog box. Move the mouse pointer to the right edge of the C partition, and when the mouse pointer changes to a double-headed arrow shape, drag to the right to reduce the size of the C partition, as shown in Figure 2.
Step 3: After adjusting the capacity of the C partition, click the OK button (see Figure 3) to return to the PartitionMagic main interface.
Step 4: Right-click the disk partition where you want to increase the capacity, right click D partition, and choose adjust capacity/move from the pop-up shortcut menu, as shown in Figure 4.
Step 5: Open the Adjust capacity/move partition-D: Dialog box. Move the mouse pointer to the left edge of the D partition, and when the mouse pointer changes to a double-headed arrow shape, drag the mouse to the left and add the C-divided space to the D disk, as shown in Figure 5.
Step 6: After adjusting the capacity of the D partition, click the OK button (see Figure 6) to return to the PartitionMagic main interface.
Step 7: After adjusting the disk partition size, click the Apply button to perform the adjustment operation, as shown in Figure 7.
Tip: Dynamically changing the partition capacity execution time depends on the capacity of the partition and how much data is stored on it. Although using PartitionMagic to adjust partition capacity does not damage the data stored in the partition, it is possible to damage the data if a power outage or panic occurs during the adjustment process.
