Use Photoshop to draw retro-wind stamps and Postmarks

Method/Step

1, open Photoshop, new file, named here as a stamp

2, then open the picture you want to make stamps, press (CTRL + a) All selected picture copy (Ctrl + C), paste it (Ctrl + V) to (stamp) file, as shown:

3, select the picture layer, click (ctrl+t) free to adjust the picture to the appropriate size, click Enter to confirm.

4, select the picture layer one at the same time click the CTRL key, to get the selection (as shown on the left). Click "Transform Selection" under the "Select" menu, and then hold down the ALT key while dragging the mouse to change the selection to the appropriate size, click Enter to confirm. 、

5, new layer, get Layer two, click (shift+f5) Fill white, and then drag the layer two to layer one below. As shown in figure:

6, select the Path panel, click the following "Generate work path from the selection" to get the work path, as shown:

7, back to the Layers panel, select the background layer, press and hold (Ctrl+i), the background into black. Select the Eraser tool, adjust the stroke size, and then click the Toggle Brush Palette at the far right of the toolbar to adjust the spacing to the appropriate value as shown in the figure.

8, select the second "Brush stroke path" under the Path panel (first select the Eraser tool in the toolbar). Got the stamps we wanted, as pictured

9, click the work path below the blank area, better see the effect of stamps. The postmark is started below. New layer three, as shown (right)

10, select the tool bar Ellipse tool, select the path, while holding down the CTRL and ALT keys, drag the mouse to get a suitable size of the circular path. Then select the Brush tool in the toolbar, adjust the brush to the appropriate size, then select a good color, and then select the brush stroke path under the path panel to get the result as shown:

11, select the Type tool, so that the text along the round path arrangement, as shown:

12, press and hold ctrl+t free transformation path, while holding down the shift+alt scale text, so that it placed in the ring inside. As shown in figure (left). The postmark is then completed in accordance with the appeal method and the three layers of the postmark are merged.

13, select the white serrated background layer Two, with the Magic wand tool selected outside the background and then switch to the postmark layer to delete. This removes the excess part of the postmark.

14, in order to let the postmark appear to have traces of the years, here again for local treatment. Select the Eraser tool in the toolbar, adjust the stroke to the appropriate size, wipe the postmark to achieve the effect you want, and then set the layer to multiply. This completes the entire drawing process, as shown in the figure.

Attention matters
