Use QuickTime to record iphone screen on Mac OS X 10.10

But since Apple does not provide such capabilities directly on the MAC, it can only download software such as AirServer. They are generally not cheap, and the stability is not too good. But starting with Mac OS X 10.10, you don't have to worry about it. Yosemite's QuickTime (right, that player) provides a recording camera, screen recording, and an iphone or ipad screen recording that we'll be introducing.

I. Pre-conditions

System: Mac OS X 10.10, IOS 8. Hardware: Connect your Mac and iOS devices using a data cable.

1. Connect your computer and iOS device using a USB cable.

2. Open QuickTime.

3. File > new movie recoding(Chinese version for files > new movie recording ).

4. Click the drop-down menu next to the Record button to choose from Iphone/ipad as the data source, as well as the picture quality. The screen for your iOS device will appear on your computer.

5. For privacy reasons, the projected screen time is 9:41 AM and the battery charge is 100%.

6. QuickTime automatically recognizes that the screen is rotated.

7. Stop recording and save the video.
